We figured out an AI system to run Google Ads at scale

Time-saving vs Money-making automations

A few weeks ago, we ran a webinar on AI & automation workflows for Google Ads.

Inside, we covered a wide range of systems that any brand can implement and benefit from.

While I was planning for this, I realized there's a big misconception people have about automation.

A lot of people think it's purely about automating tasks.

They believe all it does is take the processes you're already running… and make them faster, easier, and more efficient.

These are what I call time-saving automations.

While a lot of automation falls into that bucket…

But there's another category with even more potential.

These are what I call the money-making automations.

They handle the "human" parts of your business BETTER than a person could…

And they allow you to either cut wasted ad spend or push your ROAS higher.

I’ll give you an example of how they work.

In the webinar, I walked through an automation we're running for clients:

Competitor research.

It works by pulling all the competitor insights from your niche…

I’m talking about email campaigns, ad creatives, social content, landing pages across 10+ different competitors.

Can a human do this? Probably.

But if you’ve ever done any type of competitor research, you know how painful it is.

You'd spend hours digging through just ONE competitor.

You've got 10 tabs open, scrolling endlessly, trying to find "something worth noting."

And here's the real problem:

You probably can't remember what they changed in their messaging or offer since last month.

And since you’re doing everything manually, you’re missing a lot of the details.

But this is exactly where AI excels, because it's incredible at summarizing and tracking changes.

Our system runs 24/7 and delivers the insights you need…

Changes in email frequency, new angles they’re testing, offers they’re promoting, all of it.

All the things that, in the hands of a competent advertiser, can become marketing assets that deliver serious results.

This is what I mean when I say automation can do a better job than humans.

Not only will they save you time… they will give you better results than doing it manually ever could.

Now, that's just one example.

You can build a "Google Ads Brain" that’s trained on your SOPs and brand materials.

So whenever you need help with technical details, you get advice tailored to your brand.

Or you can set up an alert that triggers when spend increases but conversions don't rise proportionally.

This has helped us catch issues early for many clients and save over $10K on broken tracking.

I think AI-generated ads are also going to be massive in this category.

We're building an AI creative department in the agency to explore this.

I'll share more about what we're learning and what's working best for us in another email.

What I’m trying to say is…

The potential here is massive.

So I'd encourage you to think about how you can set up these money-making automations in your business.

Ever since we brought in an expert to build them, the returns have been asymmetric… both in terms of time saved and money made.

If you want to figure out what you should automate and how to do it:

I’ve worked with many “automation experts” but no one came close to him.

He's helped me automate over 20,000 tasks and saved our team at least 10 hours per week each.

That includes a ton of work on the ecom side, which has also helped our clients save or make a lot of money.

Or if you just want us to implement these AI systems and quickly scale your Google Ads…
