We analyzed two 9-figure DTC brands. The mistakes surprise us...
Even top brands get this wrong

A while ago, our Head of Google Ads, Filippo, jumped on a live session to break down the marketing strategies of 2 major DTC brands.
Both are top contenders in their space, pulling in 9 figures every year.
And yet…
We caught a long list of mistakes they were making… and optimizations they could apply to get better ROAS.
In other words:
Even the big guys aren't running their strategy anywhere near its full potential.
I see this constantly in our audits too.
Brands making 8 figures a year come to us… and we find 10–15+ areas where they're either wasting spend or missing opportunities to make more money.
Now, you might be thinking…
“Well, if they're hitting nine or ten figures, the strategy must be working.”
That’s a fair point.
The reality is, they’ll make a lot of money regardless because of their reputation and brand awareness.
But at the same time…
Wouldn't those brands make significantly more if they ran their strategy in an optimal way?
We've seen what happens when it does…
Many of the accounts we audited were already making solid money on Google.
But when we fixed the leaks and rebuilt their strategy… they just got much better performance.
One brand went from $4M to $29.5M in annual revenue within 12 months.

Another added $12M a year on top of what they were doing.

This is why it genuinely baffles me when a brand spending $30k/mo on Google thinks they've hit their ceiling…
When there are brands in their space spending 6 figures every month on prospecting alone.
Of course, external factors like margins or repeat purchase rates play a role.
But most of the time, you’re just underestimating what Google Ads can do when it's run properly.
