How we generated $4.43M/mo for a brand by plugging “search gaps”
What running Google Ads at the highest level looks like

I talk a lot about scaling ad spend past plateaus.
But I rarely show you what running Google Ads at the highest level looks like.
In one month, this brand generated $4.43M in Google Ads revenue from $456K in ad spend.

While not many brands have reached this level of scale…
There’s one critical insight I think every brand should pay attention to.
The biggest driver of that growth was their ability to dominate every keyword tied to their products… no matter how competitive it was.
This supplement company went head-to-head with giants for brutal keywords like:
“collagen”
“protein powder”
“creatine”
“gym supplement”
Not only did they show up for these terms…
They claimed the top spots for both Search and Shopping.
Many times, you’d see their ads appearing 2 or 3 times in the same search.
And it wasn’t limited to branded or product searches.
We also helped them capture informational terms, such as:
"benefits of creatine"
"side effects of creatine"
"how to take protein powder"
"best time to take supplements"
No search terms slipped through the cracks. Zero revenue left on the table.
After reviewing over 200 accounts this year, I’ve noticed a common pattern:
Every brand has some level of “search gaps.”
Right now, your potential customers are searching for terms that you don’t appear for.
There are searches that should be driving sales for your products, but you're nowhere to be found.
There are valuable keywords where your competitors are burying you in the search results.
This isn’t just a small brand problem.
Even top brands are missing obvious, high-volume keywords that could drive serious revenue.
Your mission is simple:
Never let a relevant search happen without attempting to capture it.
Look, you might not have the budget to outbid big players on hyper-competitive keywords.
But you should always hunt for the "search gaps" you can fill with the budget and resources you have.
That’s how we approach every account we take on.
First, we help them show up for the valuable search terms they’ve been missing out on.
From there, we never stop digging for new audiences to reach.
The process looks like this:
1. Run regular keyword research to uncover new keyword opportunities
2. Optimize product feeds and GMC to align with how people search.
3. Build new sets of product feeds with different product titles to capture more searches (and potentially show up several times for the same search)
(There’s more to it, like bidding strategies, campaign structure, segmentation, but you get the idea.)
Again, the ultimate goal is to make sure no search terms slip through the cracks.
That way, you tap into every audience segment that could buy your products.
If you want someone to review your account and identify these search gaps… we’re offering a Google Ads audit to a few selected accounts.
