Google's Gemini 3 launch just revealed where Google Ads are heading...
Huge week for Google

The other week was a huge week for Google.
They rolled out two updates that got everyone talking:
1. Gemini 3
2. Nano Banana Pro
There’s a ton of hype around these products.
And if you’re on X, you know just how much people are enjoying these tools. Many say they outperform GPT or Claude for certain tasks.
I’ve spent a good amount of time digging into these updates.
And to be honest, they’re far better than I expected.
Nano Banana Pro, in particular, feels like a big leap ahead of the older image generation models.
A lot of the typical AI image issues (like distorted text) are basically gone.
The outputs feel much closer to something a designer would produce.
But here's what really stands out to me about these new updates.
There’s a big difference in how Google launches compared to other popular LLMs out there.
Right after they ship these products, they immediately embed them inside their existing ecosystem
You can already use Nano Banana Pro in Google Ads. And Google's AI Mode now runs entirely on Gemini 3.0.
But what does this mean for your brand… or how will it affect Google Ads?
This is what I think happens next…
As more people discover and use these built-in AI features, they will spend more time inside Google’s ecosystem.
And the more someone uses them, the more Google becomes their default choice for everything.
Which eventually translates to more search volume over the long run.
It’s similar to what Apple did.
The iPhone became the gateway. Once people fell in love with it, they began using the MacBook, the iPad, the AirPods, and the Watch.
And they stayed inside the ecosystem because everything worked together so smoothly.
There’s been a lot of talk that Google is “killing search” with these AI updates.
And honestly, I think they’re missing the point.
Google is evolving because they have to.
The entire industry is shifting toward AI. So they either adapt or get left behind.
They’re choosing to build AI into their ecosystem instead of layering it on as a side feature.
I believe this is a smart choice because they’re playing to their biggest advantage:
No one else has the infrastructure, user base, and ecosystem that they’ve built over the last 3 decades.
And as long as they keep shipping great products like this, I only see this strengthening their position going forward.
