The greatest CRO tactic you’ve never heard of
No, it has nothing to do with your landing page

Last week, I noticed something in one of our partner’s campaigns and I wanted to share it with you.
Before working with us, they were overpaying for clicks.
This campaign was generating decent sales. But when we audited their account we saw lots of room for improvement.
After our team refined the ad copy, the conversion rate jumped from 8.84% to 12.82%.
Here’s where it gets interesting…
We didn’t touch the landing page.
Not a single pixel.
All the improvement came from the copy.
I see many brands obsess over tweaking every little detail on their landing pages to boost conversions.
They split-test every word, every color, every button placement.
Don’t get me wrong - those things are useful.
But that’s not always where the real opportunity lies.
CRO doesn’t just happen on your landing page.
It starts with the traffic you send there.
The landing page is like a water filter.
Even the best filter can't make dirty water drinkable.
A great landing page won’t perform with poor traffic.
But I’ve seen average landing pages convert extremely well when you send the right people to them.
This is where ad copy makes all the difference.
Great copy doesn’t just get clicks.
It qualifies your traffic and primes them to take action.
That's why I always tell our partners:
View your funnel as one connected system.
