Google ads high ROI mindset
killing and overcoming diminishing returns

I was chatting with a friend in London today, and we came across a topic I thought would be interesting to share.
He asked me, “Where do you think people go wrong in ads?”
It’s a nuanced topic.
But I think the biggest problem for brands doing their own ads or subpar agencies is something called:
“Hyper-rationalization”
Long story short, they start meticulously combing over everything.
In an excessive way.
They're always tweaking their ads, adjusting bids, and second-guessing their strategy.
It's exhausting. And worse, it's killing their ROI.
Here's the truth we’ve found after testing thousands of campaigns:
The key to Google Ads success isn't constant tweaking.
It's knowing when to go big and when to stay small.
"The more cash an ad pulls in, the less you want to mess with it."
It's counterintuitive, I know. But hear me out.
At the start, go big with your tests. Change up the ad copy, product image, title, etc.
Once you get a proof of concept, shift to small optimizations.
Big tests first, small tweaks second.
This approach has transformed my clients' accounts:
It’s a higher ROI mindset.
Don’t lose sight of the bigger picture.
See you in the next one, guys; just a quick one from me.
