The difference between great ads and good ads
The 1 thing YouTube videos or blogs can’t teach you

The most underrated skill in advertising:
The ability to spot money in the data.
It’s about seeing the opportunities that others overlook.
Like when you find a killer marketing angle while doing market research.
Or when you discover an untapped market to target in your keyword research.
Here’s a story about one of the biggest brands we worked with.
This brand was selling sofa covers.
We could’ve gone the obvious route: cushion covers, armrest covers, the whole basic setup.
But we dug deeper.
That’s when we hit gold: pet covers.
High search volume. Low competition.
We saw the signal instantly—it was gonna pop.
So we tailored our copy, changed the product image, and adjusted the landing page to hit that angle.
And it became one of the most profitable campaigns we run.
Which heavily contributed to their $8.2M in revenue (with a 7.55X ROAS).
This kind of insight doesn’t come from watching YouTube videos or reading blogs.
It comes from years of experience.
Once you’ve been in the game long enough, you can “feel” when something is gonna work.
You’re able to take advantage of the gold that most overlook.
Google Ads require very basic knowledge to get an ad to work.
But scaling it requires deep knowledge of the platform and a strong understanding of the market.
That’s why I always say…
Google Ads isn’t about all those tools, strategies, and frameworks.
It’s about how deep you go with them.
Anyone can analyze the data.
But only a few can see the untapped potential hiding behind it.
