Last week, my team spotted a new feature on our client’s landing page.

The Top Quality Store badge is now displayed on site.
When you click it, you’ll see a full breakdown of how Google rates the brand on:
Pricing
Returns
Shipping
Payment options
Website quality
And even more under the “More about this store” section.
Google is basically giving shoppers a report card on your store.
This is huge because when shoppers land on your site, one question runs through their mind:
Can I trust this brand?
This badge acts as another trust signal, answering that question before they even have to ask.
It reassures visitors that your store is legit, reliable, and safe to buy from.
We don’t have data on how much it boosts conversions yet.
But here’s what we do know:
Data shows that trust badges on e-commerce sites can boost conversion rates by as much as 42%.
And this is an upgraded version of the standard ones.
Why?
Because it highlights many small details that buyers actually care about.
More importantly, it’s backed by a third party.
And since it’s Google, no one will question whether it’s legit.
Now, the question is–how do you get this badge visible in your store?
It seems like Google’s testing it with select merchants before rolling it out more widely.
But they’ve already confirmed that broader access is coming:

Having an “exceptional” overall quality score on your Google Merchant Center.
