5 quick Google Ads profit boosters
Improvements that add up over time

We've audited over 300 brands this past year.
Many of them are making 8 figures in annual revenue.
You’d think that the big guys must have everything dialed in.
But from what I’ve seen, they struggle with the same issues that trip up smaller brands.
Here are the 5 most common mistakes I see that when corrected, can significantly improve your ROAS.
And most of which can be fixed within hours…
1. Customer list
Data is the backbone of Google Ads.
Customer lists give the algorithm the whole picture of your customer avatar.
And the more data Google has about your customers, the better its targeting gets.
Yet many brands haven’t updated their lists for years - even though it only takes minutes to do.
2. Custom Labels
Custom labels let you divide your product groups by attributes that aren’t available in the Merchant Center.
While optional, they’re critical for maximizing your profit.
With better product segmentation, you can have more control over your bids.
This is incredibly useful as you can segment your products based on:
Price
Margin
Season
Performance
Any many more…
You get to implement different strategies for different groups.
3. Google Merchant Center Promotions
A huge missed opportunity for many brands is GMC promos.
These can make a big difference during sales events.
As they show up in Shopping results, more users can see your deals, leading to a higher CTR.
Also if you’ve got a newsletter or email list…
You should be running a GMC promo year-round with a discount code to promote it.
4. Shopping Titles
This one's surprising to me.
Shopping titles are the most important part of Shopping ads.
But a lot of brands we audit still use generic titles.
They slap on irrelevant features that potential customers don’t search for.
A few simple tweaks here and I’ll bet they could get a much better result.
5. Youtube Shorts Ads
While many brands are running YT Short ads, their creatives usually miss the mark.
They’re often too “commercial” with B-rolls, music and a hard sales tone.
To see real ROI on YouTube, your ads must feel organic.
Make it entertaining and authentic.
Blend in with the content people already consume.
Because the moment it feels like an ad, people tune out immediately.
Apart from these 5 common mistakes, we’ve seen many other overlooked optimizations that can unlock even more potential…
We’re offering a free account audit for a few selected brands.
We’ll help you identify these bottlenecks and potential avenues to increase your revenue and ROAS.
If you're an eCommerce brand owner making at least $1M a year or spending over $20k a month on Google ads…
